  1. Sometimes i feel like the game would be mighty interesting and much more dynamic, if you had 2 balls. I would then suggest to also allow teams to play 6 players at a time. The strategy would be interesting. just following it would be hard.
  2. Is it a firing if you simply don't renew a contract that runs out?
  3. its been the story of the last two games. Defense often not great. But whenever they DO get a few stops, the offense then goes out and does nothing with that. Can't get momentum like that.
  4. This really is not the game to play more than 30% 3-3-5. That plays too much into Tulanes basic game. Still time to adjust. Experience shows you need about 50 points to beat UNT. Tulane is only halfway there.
  5. such a pitty on the PI. Its not truely catachable, not needed to takle him.
  6. How is that not a flag! Since when are you allowed to strangle folks
  7. Im in two minds about that. I get what you are saying and there indeed maybe something to it. but on the other hand I think he is playing "redzone roulette" on defense, i.e. not even trying to hard until the opponent gets to the red zone. If he goes for it there, at least the defense will not be tired and not need to defend the whole field... and if it goes wrong, at least the offense gets the ball back quickly. Its a bold strategy, and it sure didn't work last week, but I can at least halfway see a reasoning for it. Still not sure its the right way to go.
  8. Need to stop running until they lighten that box. Feels like there wasn't a single run with real potential. Also, stop the passes behind the line of scrimmage
  9. I don't like the gimmicky stuff in the E-MOrris offense. If you know what you are doing with gimmicks it can be helpful. But I get the feeling this offense is much more efficient in its basic stuff than with the gimmicks
  10. I think against this Tulane offense the defense can do well... provided the offense gives it the appropriate breaks and time off, because they WILL wear down against this Tulane offense otherwise. This was not a good start in that regard.
  11. was worried after those two runs by their bell cow. He seems haard to bring down. But got a good stop on the first drive
  12. yes, it sucks that 44 points were not enough. But if you have 130 yards more than the opponent and lose by 8, more than just the defense went wrong. Like in-game coaching decisions for example.
