the AAC is so much worse this year...I think we're top tier in the league, but I don't know where 2nd/3rd place will fall come tournament selection time. so far, this isn't a tournament team...maybe another NIT bid, but that's a statement made without my doing much looking at those 50-80-ish programs. again, I love that we have a real identity...I love that we clawed back into this game with a 10+ minute scoring drought...but until we have something that approaches offensive sets that are more than just 10-20 second iso-post backdowns we're gonna be little more than a top 50 NET team/12-seed/NIT regular. the next step is adding an offensive system to this solid defensive system

Atin Wright is 3-3 w/o a single bit of action being run for him. there has been zero offensive adjustment to help accommodate a lead scorer clearly can't go get his own the way Perry and Edwards did the last three seasons. I love that we have a rugged defensive identity, but we've seen the ceiling on this program can grow if we don't bring in assistant who can help coach up an offensive system.
