It's just crazy to me that if a kid gets an offer that may or may not be committable from a low tier P4 school, one of the 300+ they've sent out by summer that matters more than a non biased evaluation. 247sports makes bank from the P4 schools, I would wager Meangreen247 has 30 subscribers at most, it does them no favors to rank him above so many P4 commits. He's 6'2, 200 with extremely impressive agility, I am really high on both him and Tyler Brown although Brown may need a year or two to put some weight on assuming he will play DB.

My point was that despite the offer list 247 rated him this highly giving their honest evaluation. Of the next 30 running backs ranked below him, 26 are committed to power teams including Tennessee A&M Michigan penn state USC. Obviously they see something in him to give him that kind of ranking.

I have been checked out on football since November more or less and was looking up our 2025 class out of boredom only to find we signed a nationally top 40 ranked running back? Caleb Hawkins received a 89 ranking from 247, making him our second or third highest ranked commit ever I’m surprised there’s not been discussion on him. He was given a rating on January 27th, kudos to 247 for sticking to their guns and giving the rating they saw fit, not considering his offer list in which we were the only FBS school to offer. This UCI team just doesn’t miss damn

If we win out the regular season and lose in the final I would bet my house on us being left out. I'm not saying our resume is not worthy but we absolutely would get passed over for a middling P4 team much less a bubble team.

Why are they not reviewing plays? There’s at least a chance that long pass play was a fumble. Tsu seems to be getting screwed by this as well what’s going on?

I remember saying this before I hit puberty, and much like North Texas over the years, I was not granted that wish. The tweet says he passed on multiple P4 offers, meaning he passed up money to play here. He was at Miami for one season and was backup to a Heisman finalist. I have no doubt he will put up numbers here, and if he doesn't so be it, Jimmerson Jr. will. We still need help, our offensive line benefitted from running backs who extended plays. Overall our YPC was very good but they weren't consistently opening holes, we need big time help there. So far it's a good start GMG

My math may be off but we are 1-9 vs. teams who end season above .500 HELL NO I DONT SUPPORT THIS BS. We all saw this coming when they didn’t try to sign new portal players for the front six. Easily one of the most underrated players in the state. He was offered this week by NC State and visiting there this weekend, plans to make his decision this coming Monday. In the article I read it said he became a father over the summer so maybe location will help us. It also talked about his work ethic I am very hopeful we land this kid.

I completely understand protecting the defense, I don’t mind going for it on 4th on their side of the field 90% of the time, didn’t mind the first pass at kicking a field goal, but good lord why didn’t we kick that last one. Try to go to the half at 24-10 and get the ball?

Technically but the stupidest thing to me about it from the first time I heard it was the thought that we would recruit some all world safety for the middle safety position capable of stopping runs at 2-3 yards. I know Marcus Trice was amazing but we have truly not had a field to field do it all safety since 2003.

Is he really even cheaper? He took a lower salary to pay assistant coaches more, not to mention I want to say a million to recruiting staff. All of that was supposed to make us better, quickly. Ive said it before, but let it go when we started the season well, but realistically the bare minimum (like ULM level money) should go to football. Money to the basketball program that has proven it can actually bring national recognition to us should be prioritized.

Just sub out Morris and have a package for QB sneak under center. Feel like that's going to be where we lost the game.
