I know that shuffle pass to jimmerson turned out good, but that was a bad decision by dw and was lucky it wasn't a turnover. The angle from behind the play showed that he threw it over the shoulder of the dl in between him and jimmerson.

That was the fg, not a extra point.

Your point probably still applies though.

Well, at about the 3:05 mark, from the 3 yard line, it sure looks like an extra point to me. Edited by DeepGreen

Well, it wasn't. George wouldn't of said he's a "perfect 6 for 6" if it were. He had 11 pat's in the nicholls game alone. It was the fg that made it 35-10, same time, same distance.

Actually, I think DeepGreen is right. The field goal (and George's quote you reference) is around the 5:20 mark. The kick at 3:05 DeepGreen pointed out is different and seeing as we only had one field goal in the game, looks like the 3:05 kick was an extra point.

Right y'all are. My apologies. I was referring to the second fg "highlight". Also, I thought he was talking about game time, not video time.

I'm pretty pleased with the way we defended passes into the flats. Not a ton of positives on defense in this game, but that's one.

You know what I am not pleased with... human trafficking.

and domestic violence.

and burnt popcorn.

      UNT's best defensive player jumps in portal

      Sorry but I've gotten to the point where I don't really care about any particular player anymore. How do you support players when they have absolute zero loyalty to the university? Let them do what they choose but then again they should also be held accountable to criticism or any comments made just like we do with professional athletes. Sorry to rant but I'm absolutely sick of what is happening, and yes I know some of you are going to jump in and say they have the right to make money. Making money is not the issue. The fact that this whole cluster f has come about with no rules and neither side giving a damn bit about what the fan base thinks about. So come this fall I will be supporting the University of North Texas and whoever we put on the field but I'm sick and tired of hearing players and their families talking about their appreciation and loyalty to North Texas. With all due respect just perform on the field and don't expect the fans to be invested in the individual players.

      Portal +/- numbers for UNT

      You only support this system because it benefits your school and your donor rich system. Not everyone is a rich private school. The system should allow everyone a shot to be successful. The athletic situation we find ourselves in now is not much more than a glorified community college.

      "After much prayer" my arse! Just be honest and say, I am greedy and wanted more money than UNT was able to pay me. Sick of the lies by these players and supposed "tough decisions". You turned your back on the program that gave you a chance. My position is don't let the door hit you on the way out. Good riddance.

      Man there are big problems in the system, but this "they are using us" stuff.....come on. What scholarship athlete has picked UNT (or anywhere else) based on love of the school? Very few. They picked based on scholarship and what situation benefits them the most. Just like students. Who often also pick based on scholarship ($$) and what benefits them the most. Sometimes they transfer too. Students and athletes sometimes enjoy their time and develop affinity and loyalty. Many times they don't.
