Why in the world would the University of North Texas System buy a table at the UT/OU weekend event? Per DMN sports page ad, UNT system has purchased a $2,500 table for the inaugural event put on by the City of Dallas. I am sure it is justified as supporting Dallas and being able to associate with the Dallas movers and shakers, but I believe it sends a poor message.

Umm. I'd be more concerned if UNT allowed UT and OU to purchase tables outside of a UNT game.

Strange yes, but relationships matter. OU and UT have a favorable opinion of UNT is what it feels like. Those programs also wield a lot of influencing power. There are those UT OU t-shirt fans some which will go to UNT one day.

Strange yes but minor on the big canvas. We have Indiana to beat!
