Thought everyone might enjoy seeing this story about Pat Hicks. As you may or may not know, he still holds the record for the most career assists at UNT as well as the most single-game assists. I was talking to him today and tried to persuade him to come to a game this season. He lives in Houston now. I didn't write the story, but one of my colleagues did.

I will always remember that mid-court shot Pat Hicks made against Texas. So much fun to have been there to see that game in person.

That guy was an assist machine!
