Indiana (2-2) returns to non-conference play Saturday against visiting North Texas (2-2) in a 2:30 p.m. game on the Big Ten Network.

Protection, route running, play-calling, dropped balls and errant throws were all responsible for passing problems, Wilson said. He declined to blame the loss of big targets Cody Latimer, Kofi Hughes and Ted Bolser, who were all in NFL camps.

Wilson said he was confident issues would be resolved because passing in the previous two games – 31-of-41 for 347 yards at Bowling Green and 18-of-33 for 252 yards at Missouri – was effective.

"But it's got to be consistent," Wilson said.

He said moving wideout Shane Wynn to the slot, where he previously played, is not the answer. He conceded opponents are committed to stopping the run and are "not respecting the pass game

Losing Cody Latimer was huge. He is a great athlete and receiver.

This and the loss of Kofi Hughes has lowered Sudfeld's play. As you can see, your accuracy doesn't have to be very good when you're throwing to this guy.
