8. North Texas (2-2, 0-1, next game Saturday @ Indiana) — The Mean Green have had the week off to build on the confidence of their huge victory over Nicholls before traveling to Indiana next week. The Hoosiers couldn’t stand prosperity, losing at home to Maryland after upsetting Missouri the previous week. It will be a huge test for UNT’s strong defense, which ranks 17th in total defense and 11th in rush defense nationally.

Huge victory over Nicholls? The score was huge but it's not like we defeated LSU.

It goes to show put the points on them if you can people notice. We should have put another 20 on both SMU and Nicholls. It really helps to get the national publicity

I've had multiple people bring up the Nicholls State and mentioning how bad we beat them. People pay attention to lopsided blowouts no matter who you played

Newsflash: outside of serious college football fans, there is exactly zero difference between Nicholls St. and FIU/MTSU/WKU in the mind of most casual fans.

ETA: So yes, to many people beating Nicholls by 70+ is just as good as beating Arkansas St. or Florida Atlantic by 70+.

Milk it.
