Passionate but rational Mizzou friend of mine, married to an IU grad, told me that the IU loss was more about Mizzou playing historically bad football. Still, it is a boost of credibility for IU and would enhance the value of a NT win.

Should be a great game next week!

The Mizzou game took a lot out of Indiana. They even lost a couple of key backups.

Well, at least they beat a ranked team. I'm sorry to hear about the injuries, though. Overall, I expect Indiana football to continue on an upward trajectory under Kevin Wilson. After their next game.

Indiana will be a tough game for us. Church it up however you will, I think we lose by 14.

James!

I tried to send you a PM, but kept getting a message stating you weren't allowed to use the PM system.

Could be where Ivery and Wilson make a difference as well. If we try to feed Pegram too much we are playing into their strength. If we feed a couple quicker backs and make them run mixed in with some quick throws to quick wideouts we have a legit shot of winning.

Ivery's Hudle reel is ridiculous. I'm just wondering aloud, for anyone that's seen, how his football speed holds up compared to some of our faster players.

I honestly thought he would be getting more touches right now, but have been pleasantly surprised for the emergence of Wilson.

I like the(true) freshmen, but I would like to see what Evans can do considering he has done well in his opportunities and is probably the fastest guy on the team. Just a few shots in space.

Or Evans. We can't try to run at them every time we run. They are big and slow and we need to try and run around them with our smaller faster backs. Their run D has been good all year against everyone they have played. If you look back at their games most teams tried running right at them. Mizzou spread them out and ran inside zone plays and finally popped a 50 yarder for a td. Bowling Green, Mizzou, and Maryland had a ton of success throwing it on them. We need to run east and west and look for cut backs and throw the football horizontally and take timely shots vertically. Tire them out and then insert Pegram and run right at them. Just my opinion for it's worth nothing at all.
