We have a bright idea, what if home teams get to determine the color of jerseys? Let's abolish the colors at home rule and let home teams pick. The choices could be submitted to the NCAA offices a month before if they're different than normal, giving the road team ample time to choose. That seems like an easy solution to tie into promotions, don't you think?

That pretty much is how it works. Default (color home/white away) colors unless both teams agree to the change before the season. ODU contacted MTSU in January but MTSU has denied permission to make the change.

Oh, how the semi-mighty have fallen: from Sun Belt champs to denying an FCS move-up's jersey request. What a legacy they are building at Middle.

I guess they want the newbie to feel welcome. Already making conference friends. Good ol' MTSU

A former coach of ours would say to come out and whatever jersey you want - permission isn't needed.

Dickey would have the team in blue jersey, but have them through some white pinnies from Academy on over them.

Not sure why Middle would care. But back in the early 80s, the Cowboys last badly several time in their blue uniforms so a superstition arose about those being bad luck. Bad luck blue was what they were called. At the time, the NFL let the home team pick between while and color, so the Cowboys picked white at home and almost always got to wear while on the road as the home teams preferred that.

Some of the other teams in the NFC East heard about the superstition and started choosing to wear white at how, when they played the Cowboys. It forced the Cowboys to wear bad luck blue.

Maybe ODU has some kind of superstition about their road uniforms.

The MUTS complained to C-USA about our UNT student section behind the opponents team, was too harassing and too loud.

Now, the MUTS complain or disagree with just about anything related to an opponents game or game promotion.

I suggest we UNT fans, find something to complain about to the MUTS on our next game.

Yes, they really embarrassed themselves and the conference with their dirty play against Navy last year. I'm glad Navy won.

How about we just kick the living Hell out of them no matter what color they wear?

Does NT have OD at home in 2015?

Divisions change next year so expect some schedule weirdness. I just hope they fix our schedule so we don't have all three Texas teams at home one year and zero the next.
