I've booked the Collin County North Texas vs. Indiana watching party at Two Rows Classic Grill in Allen. We have the entire patio reserved. We'll have two large TVs broadcasting the game along with the audio piped through the patio PA system. Two Rows (972-396-8670) is located at 711 Central Expressway in Allen (US 75 @ Bethany). The event starts at 1pm and kickoff is at 1:30pm. We'll have door prizes, a 50/50 drawing, and give-aways. All Mean Green fans are invited!

Mean Green fan specials will consist of a buckets of Bud Lt bottles (5) for $15.00 and $2.50 Miller Lt and Coors Lt drafts.

That's the best they could offer?!

It's a little under standard price, not too bad. You have to remember we don't have a cow as our mascot. Places drop price based on ROI. Kind of like buying in bulk, more fans = cheaper beer. In theory of course.

If all you offer is a discount for the big 3 domestic beers, color me unimpressed. Rudy's in Denton offers a nice happy hour which includes craft beers. It's nice especially for the coach's show.

For the record, we used to do these at Rudy's in Allen. Their deal consisted of discounts on PBR and Natty Light.

For those interested, Saturday's forecast in Allen is calling for a high of 82 degrees with 0% chance of rain. Perfect weather for the party on the patio at Two Rows in Allen, watching the game with fellow Mean Green faithful. Just sayin'.

Some of y'all's talk in the forum made me paranoid, so I went by Two Rows a few minutes ago and verified with my own two eyes that Two Rows does get the Big 10 Network. We're in business.

I settled for an email.

Yet another reason you are better than I at this. ;-)

      This is fine, I guess. I'm kinda with everyone else saying we shouldn't root for a TXSt. matchup. It's one of those scenarios where it's really bad for us if we lose, and "eh" if we win. This should be a LATech/LAMo scenario where we attempt to stonewall that effort for literally anything else. Honestly, I like this option best. This spares many of our fans from having to witness in person (and also saves NT the embarrassment of a poor turnout in our own backyard), and if you happen to be rich enough to fly out to HI for a bowl game, at least you're in HI!

      Exactly. Being blown out by another Texas program that is typically ranked beneath us would be the ultimate way to unravel any positive momentum of getting into a bowl game in the first place. Over two seasons, Morris is 0-9 vs FBS teams that finished the regular season with a winning record and 1-2 against those that finished 6-6. We shouldn't be favored against any team, but if we play someone like 6-6 Western Michigan, it should at least be competitive--and the negative effects of losing would be pretty minimal. It would have no effect on our standing with our potential recruits. Keep in mind that the Frisco Bowl is going to happen one week after the portal opens, which means the week leading up to it will be filled with announcements of our players leaving (along with the two weeks following it). Getting an absolute kick to the crotch in that game that we might be playing with a bunch of backups on offense could really set things back, heading into the offseason.

      One of my sons goes to UCF. Fans are giddy he is leaving. The only trend in play here is a coach leaving before he got fired.
