Uh oh, I sure hope you got permission from athletics before you used the name Mean Green for a child's athletic team like I was told to do?

Sarcasm on my part of course with the question but it's true about the other as you can't make this up. And we wonder why fewer and fewer familiar alumni support?

Congrats to the Mean Green Flag Footballers. Proud of y'all.

..Permission... Really.. ??

Monahans out here uses the term "Mean Green",... and I doubt anyone gave them permission....They aren't Eagles though (Lobos).

As for "Eagles" .... that is one of the most used mascots in Texas.... Lions and Bulldogs also appear a lot (top three) and mostly at very old high schools.
