After Looking at the Press, Screw it I ain't tapping the brakes till Tuesday!

Screw it I am going to bask in the glory of this win a few days. I don't care who we played that was fun. Dajon looked smooth and we were functioning on all sides of the ball. We are on national highlights, number one QB rating in the College football. Set a record or two for UNT.

Man it beats the hell out of how I felt last week.

GO MEAN GREEN!

What a difference a week makes right?

Here's the deal, some are saying the proof will be told in a couple of weeks on the road against Indiana. I disagree.

Hopefully we will be able to pull off a win against a red hot Big 10 program on the road. But the bigger picture goes well beyond this one game. We FINALLY have a QB that forces a defense to be honest and not load up against the run.

Dajon is just a freshman. He is going to have a learning curve and defenses will try to expose his lack of experience. There will be ups and downs along the way. But he provides us with a tremendous weapon that could raise the level of the program to places we just haven't been able to get to before.

This is a great point. Many have said on here playing a team like this can do nothing for the program. How about national publicity. Heck, I had the guy at the breakfast taco shop mention it to me today as I had my NT shirt on. He was like, wow you guys must be happy North Texas is rolling. Buzz is what makes a program folks!

Indiana score will depend on which coaches show up, if DMac goes conservative trying to stay close, we lose big, if the playbook is open there might be some mistakes but it will allow the team to use their talent, this offense can not grind it against P5 teams and upper half CUSA

The current offense with DW is not a grind it out type offense. If they do that against Indiana or do it at all against anyone they are taking the talent of the team and bottling it up for the defense. All the D has to do at that point is walk out on the field. I don't expect there to be a run, run, pass, and punt with DW as our starter. I think that's why they were initially hesitant to start him because of the "what if" mantra his game brings. Play calling looked good in the game the first Q and I expect it to look similar to that throughout what would be a close game. This will also put butts in Apogee...win at Indiana and UAB the attendance v So Miss will be interesting. GMG
