can't believe FIU is up on Pitt with less than 4 minutes in the first half to go.... if even that game is tougher than thought, then 6 wins may really become a stretch. C-USA is loads improved over last season

Indiana vs BGSU on TV too

Yeah, that Indiana O is not impressing me much so far. But their D... I fear our O might look worse than BGSUs...

Can't be more than 2,000 people in the stands at FIU. Sad.

Sure. No surprise after the 13 season and the start to 14 they had.... but at least those 2k gotta be happy right now, leading 16-14 at the half.

Marshall is kicking the crap out of Ohio right now too.

16 year old girls REALLY don't like those Marshall uniforms. They didn't see a problem with the look they had before. If I was a 16 year old girl, I'd agree.

      This is what I call a “growth game.” This is the kind of game Hodge can use the film from to show the team the razor thin margin between winning and losing against the best teams in our league. If we are who we hope we are, our team walks away from this knowing we CAN beat anyone come conference tourney time, we just have to execute.

      plus let's not forget a Haggerty prayer from 30' going in. we're likely not into the foul game in the last minute or so without that bucket

      Great game, Memphis is a good team and this one came down to the end. However I am still baffled by UNT's inability to inbound the ball, this is a trend that has been going on for a few seasons now. There were several times today that they would inbound the ball directly into a corner trap, many of those instances resulted into a turn over.

      Mean Green Fall At No. 21 Memphis, 68-64

      The Mean Green (10-4, 1-1) got a career performance from senior big man Moulaye Sissoko who poured in a career-high 17 points on eight shots and grabbed a game-high eight rebounds in the four-point defeat. North Texas’ Brenen Lorient scored a team-high 18 points and was one of four different Mean Green players to score in double figures. Senior Jasper Floyd had 11 points to go along with a season-high six assists. UNT outrebounded the nationally ranked Tigers (12-3, 2-0) 30-21and forced them into 15 turnovers and just seven assists. “If you have told me we would force them into 15 turnovers and just seven assists and outrebound them by nine I would have really liked our chances,” said head coach Ross Hodge. “But it was that stretch in the second half where we didn’t handle their press well and we ended with 16 turnovers. We’ll regroup together and get better from this together.” The Mean Green have a quick turnaround as they host Rice on Wednesday at Super Pit at 8 p.m. CT. UNT is 8-0 at home this season. The game will be broadcast on the Mean Green Sports Network, presented by Learfield and ESPNU.
