If was DW, I would see that there is a need for a leader in the QB position, and step my game up as a person and a football player. If coach Mac does not see that this year, he needs to release him from the team so that he can get someone who gives a crap. I understand Mac's prospective on not having him be QB, just from what I have seen on campus last year. If DW has the talent that we think he does, Mac should give him all the attention he deserves, thats what my family calls tough love, it would suck for him, but he will be a better person for it.

How did we come out of camp in this situation? How did we come out of camp with DW not being a "Mac Guy"? This is hard for me to understand. We came out of camp not being able to play. Period. We didn't need this setback after our bowl win. It's likely a host of problems that Mac is desperately trying to fix, but I wish it weren't so. I really wanted a great team. Back to the basics of "maturing" a team. Go Mean Green!
