That'll be the most telling part of this hire. Unless some p4 AD gets super wasted and hires him away, he's here next year. With that schedule, if you aren't playing the CCG, that should be an automatic resignation. Much less a firing -

Odom DC??
Excellent point. However, you could also look to hire a DC with skins on the wall that could possibly take over if/when EM gets fired. The possibility of being a possible HC for a D-1 program may be quite enticing to some…at least the thought of it. -

Football at The Dat next wrekend
Why don't we lend our facilities out more often for high school playoff games? That goes for DATCU, the Super Pit, and even the soccer stadium. Getting more unaffiliated families on our campus and in our venues can only help. -

Realistically speaking, if we win a bowl game this year, and go another mediocre 6-6 next season but win another bowl game, I think he sees a Year 4. He would have 40% of UNT's all-time bowl wins. But look at next year's schedule: Home vs. Lamar, South Alabama, Washington State, Navy, South Alabama, Temple, UTSA Away at Western Michigan, Army, Charlotte, UAB, Rice #Hit6 should be lower than the floor with that schedule. We should be competing for a spot in the CCG.
