Kevin Pope the SMU RB who is a pretty damn good player in my book was held to 31-yards on 8 carries.

James Jones led the team in tackles with 6 -- that's a low total for the top guy and what it tells you is there are a lot of guys contributing on defense...

8 players recorded a tackle for a loss in this game...

Jamal Marshall was #2 on the team with 5 tackles in the game. This guys speed at the LB position is phenomenal.

TRUE FRESHMAN Kishawn McClain shows up with 3 tackle sin the game today..

Chad Polk led the team with 1.5 sacks... guy is small but just shows up.

NT scored 27 points off turnovers.

NT held SMU to just 8 yards of rushing while NT had 245 net yards and 3 TDs.

SMU never got closer than our 30 until the end of the 4th quarter.

Depends on what happens against LaTech this coming week. Idk, they don't like admitting a loss was something of their team's own doing. It didn't seem like the SMU players came mentally prepared and the coaches were most definitely not prepared. If the score were something like 21-14 UNT, they might have some legs to think SMU didn't deserve to lose. But a loss by Saturday's margin shows total domination by the winning team.
