I told my group that Wilson would start by the middle of conference play. Obviously I didn't think Pegram would come back so strong. I now think Pegram stays the starter all year, but Wilson is going to force the coaches to give him more and more carries.

Specialty teams!....Trevor Moore was outstanding; Punt & kickoff coverage was awesome (Little Neon did nothing); Kenna 47.7 punting average and Macek 2 punts inside the twenty. Smuts were on their heals all day.

I'll pitch in one that hasn't been mentioned. Jamal Marshall. Kind of a freak athlete at LB. Making plays in space and staying with wide-outs on deep balls. He may be our best linebacker by the end of the season.

He had two touches in the prior Texas game.

On his first carry of the game and third of his career, Thomas took the handoff, found a hole on the left side, and ran 57 yards for the first touchdown of his career.
