I loved me some Woody Wilson, I was angry at Todge when he ran Woody off, probably because he wasn't Southlake enough.

He wanted Woody to play d-back. In a way, I can't blame him, because major programs wanted Woody at d-back. But the only reason Woody came to UNT in the first place is because Dickey signed him as a QB.

Hard to believe that we didn't win every game while running the only play in America that no defense can stop.

I was in the student section for that game and will never forget when Woody kept the ball on the zone read and burnt the SMU defense for a TD. He was in a foot race with a DB but pulled away right at the end to score. One of my favorite games and one of my favorite plays by a NT player. He's definitely a legend in my book.
