OK I got this idea in part from a post from SSP -- she mentioned she would not be able to tailgate because of kid sports events....

Why not announce tomorrow that any kid aged 12 and under will receive free entry into the Wing Zone so long as accompanied by a parent or coach/guardian??

SO when SSP gets to her kids game with the kids she can offer the coach and all of the players a chance to go and watch a college football game for free..

Make it a first come first serve basis and if you get there late and there are no more seats tough luck (to ease the mind of the fire marshall)....

I realize this will cut into some of the $10 revenue tickets but say you add an additional 1000 kids -- that's $10K that you may not have sold anyways...

Thoughts? What do they have to lose?

Great idea! If it sells out, they could have a great time outside the stadium. Why not get the bounce house fired up and sell some concessions to those who get turned away?

If it doesn't sell out, the free tickets is a non-issue. Each kid will still want a drink and some cotton candy. Goes back to that ol' marketing concept about giving something away.

I fully expect the wing to be green. Need it to match my mask for the first time in the history of Apogee. I got a feeling I won't be disappointed #Hit30K

An empty seat has never bought a hot dog or coke or ice cream.

Exactly! Consider each seat in the Wing Zone a piece of "Inventory". If the inventory just sits on the shelf, we haven't made a sell. And UNT is not in the inventory holding business at Apogee Stadium! Do what it takes to sell that "inventory of seats".
