Rice, TCU, and Baylor all manage to get talented kids into their private schools...to me, that's not an excuse for SMU anymore.

Admissions were relaxed for June. He will still use it as an excuse for his poopoo recruiting effort.

Exactly--I know that the previous coaches complained about the strict admissions for SMU before, but when June got there, the admissions were softened.

I just think June Jones wants to get paid as long SMU will keep paying. He'll leave there and have a job in Hawaii waiting for him as soon as he wants that job again.

I just came back from HI and the people over there are up in arms that the admins. would not match the SMU $$$$to keep Jones.

Hmmm...what do kids south of 30 have in common, and why would it be assumed they can't meet SMU's admissions standards?

Should we let TCU know that the two Desoto kids they brought in last season don't belong?
