2014 Mean Green Game Day Shuttle

Board the free shuttles from the Eulene Brock Downtown Denton Transit Center (DDTC), to the Mean Green Tailgating Village and pedestrian bridge that leads to Apogee Stadium. The buses will also stop at locations along the Downtown Denton Square so passengers can visit Denton restaurants, shops and bars before or after the football games. The shuttle will run every 15 minutes starting two hours before the game, one hour after kickoff and one hour after the game ends.

Mean Green Game Day shuttles are complimentary for the general public. Passengers must pay regular fare for Connect bus and A-train service.

Tried to get some of the SMU fans interested in using the train/shuttle and got this:

Thinking about flying my private plane from Love Field to the closest airport in Denton. Is this a good strategy?

Another angle on this is that there is a big parking lot that you should be able to park your car in and then ride the shuttle to the game....MedPark Station is the name of it. Something to consider...

-----------------

The Mean Green Game Day launch has been planned to address these transportation challenges for all of us, not just students. Imagine enjoying downtown with no parking obstacles. Medpark Stations giant parking facility is the key.

Visitors and residents alike are invited to take advantage of free parking at Medpark, a quick A-train ride to the Downtown Denton Transit Center, and then free shuttle rides from the station to points around downtown, out to the Apogee pedestrian bridge and back again.

Some smells just dont change. After UNTs exciting game on the road last week in Austin, the air in Denton is full of heady, back-to-school aromas, char-grilled and fan-charged. Lean your head back and breathe deep. Its a new semester indeed.

Welcome back, students, and go Mean Green!
