Games were so lopsided, not sure stats mean much. I think Baylor is better than UT, but they had a lot of injuries slowing them down against SMU.

Yeah, this is almost like trying to say we should have beaten somebody that Alabama beat, the year LA Monroe beat Alabama. I do agree with one thing somebody posted on the SMU board, like "college football is all about matchups". Our perceived strength (OL) was clearly overmatched by Texas' perceived strength (DL). At this point, I'm thinking to consider our DL our strength, which I certainly wouldn't have a week ago. I doubt I'll go to thinking QB play as our strength week after next.

This will be a very interesting matchup. It's like a bowl game on the Island of Misfit Toys.

Looking at the passing stats makes me worried for Saturday if we aren't able to bring consistent pressure on defense. Our qb's just couldn't make a single throw. Their qb's completes 21 passes, but were on the run so often that they never got any yardage from them.
