If our QB situation gets fixed, able to settle down and clean the crap out of their shorts, we should be fine. We will have soft classical music they can come out to next week.

But let's also remember that Texas is not Baylor and this is not your grandpa's Baylor team. Make no mistake, Baylor is better than Texas this year

I think our defense will do good, but we had some tackling issues last night that we need to fix.

Agreed, our d and special teams play was surprisingly good considering the amount of new personnel. I'm sure I'm not alone but Akunne is so overrated. The d as a whole was impressive though.I love the play of both Jones, Lee and thank god we have Buyers that walked on! They had some fire and fight in them, excited to play the game.

Baylor is getting a lot of pressure bringing 3 or 4 guys at a time. SMU's line sucks.

Yes, because they have some really highly recruited corners playing this year. Reid, #9, is a shut down corner. This allows your linebackers to pursue

I was looking for akunne to make some big plays and looked for him on replays. He did not have a good game and was blocked most of the time. He was hesitant and not explosive. Good thing we dont face a team this talented again this year.

He was not horrible though. Just thought he would step it up.

Exactly, sits back, waits too long which allows him to get blocked. Needs to attack the football, his speed hurts him tremendously. Having fast linebackers is key at this level. Orr was a great LB Edited by MeanGreen01

It's now the end of the 3rd and they have lost 3 net yards. SMwho has 43 total offensive yards. My guess is that Baylor will call the dogs off in the 4th and create some throwing room for Burcham.

Ha, those days are over. If Baylor want to make the Final Four they are going to have to crush everyone because their schedule is already shaky.

Up 38 with six minutes left Baylor just went for and converted a 4th and 9.
