With 400 band members taking probably 800 seats at $100, that is $80,000 just for seats before you add transportation, food, and hotels. Personally, I wish we could have used part of the $875,000 payout for that. Could be part of the fallout from recovering the funds issue that was discovered.

If they would have traveled they wouldn't have brought the entire band. And I guess the athletic department didn't want to give up 10K of their 875K payout to bring 100 members to add a little bit of home in that stadium.
