Will put 8 or even 9 in the box and dare UNT to beat man to man coverage. It could be a very long season.

If the QB situation can't be righted, we are looking at a 3 win season.

Greer looked scared, locked on to his primary receivers, and took far too long to go through the progressions in his reads, which led to several sacks. Also couldn't throw the ball accurately. At all.

NcNulty was just McNulty.

With SMU still to play, our remaining schedule is a combined 4-6.

As we all pointed back to the success against UGA last year, we all seemed to forget that we had two wins in the rear view mirror going into the game - including the Ball State classic.

This team will grow substantially between now and conference play. The players will improve and the playbook will expand as that happens.

Isn't that pretty much what very team did last season too though?

Yes, but we had a QB that could exploit that defensive set when given the opportunity.

Totally agree! This game scares me for both of these QB's for our future! This is a character trait, has to kick in when in big games, the flight or fight response. Some can slow things down and respond well in big moments and some just lock up.

Texas by a long mile has the best defense we will play. UT might have an average power conference defense but the 11 remaining teams we play have average to bad defenses.

What?

Time will tell... But Texas easily has the best defensive front 4 in the xii. Not to mention that they have linebackers that are so freaking fast that they can play safety at most schools.

That is a pretty darn good defensive front. 90 and 88 could start anywhere in the country and that's who wreaked the most havoc against our right side. We will get it cleaned up and be able to run the ball against loaded boxes from here on out. Ground and pound baby!
