Saw on several pass plays he just got whipped immediately up the middle. Tough to ever pass with a rush up the gut. I think he is too big and has slow feet. Now, that doesn't excuse Greer's lack of touch or throwing balls into the grass when rolling out of the pocket....but it is worth mentioning this experienced o-line had trouble with basic protections and blitzes.

Y'barro got whipped on a 4th Q sack and Lemon got whipped on a 3rd Q sack. He wasn't the only one. Backs were releasing without any look to see if the O-line needed help. That will be straightened out this week because it's an easy fix. The backs will stick their nose in there to help in pass protection against SMwho. Doesn't help that Greer has hot potato hands and cylinder blocks for feet.

I'm more concerned with the snaps from Kirby.

I'm concerned that I never saw the QB's working with him to get the snaps higher when they were on the sidelines. You see Tony Romo all the time if snaps aren't perfect he will be on the sideline working with the center to correct the issue. Never saw that last night.

Because we dont have a leader at QB. A leader would have had his center over there immediately taking snaps. A leader would have also been jumping on his O-lines ass for getting whipped the couple times they did. A leader at QB would have jumped on the HB's for not adequately helping out in pass protection. And yo..do we not have freaking safety valves in our offensive system?!?! I saw one dump off to a HB, or an attempt to dump off to Pegram but he dropped it while getting hit out of bounds. There should have been 2 backs back there when in shotgun...one to help pass protect and one to shuffle to the flats or to a hole behind the LB's. This was not a well prepared offensive game plan, at all. Canales should have known they were going to be able to consistently get mild pressure on our QB with only 4 down and he should have planned accordingly or at least adjusted accordingly. If you're going to get in shotgun then use your options according to what the D is doing to you. UT blitzed pretty consistently on 3rd downs and we saw 0 screens. 0. Screens, draws, and misdirectons are the neutralizer to a bigger or hyper-aggressive defense. I am embarrassed by the performance, but just as embarrassed by the game plan, if not more.
