So far, this thing is just a sloppy mess of epic proportions. Unforced TO's, airmailed passes, dropped balls. Awful.

The muffed punt/fumbled snap/punter dropping the snap sequence was especially entertaining.

I wish I was driving to Austin now instead of in the morning...

Yeah, it has been really sloppy football. It's super humid which is probably making throwing the ball and fielding it a bid harder, but still... Houston has 4 TOs, UTSA should be leading by more.

This UTSA team looks freaking good on Defense! This is a pretty good Houston team and they are making a game of it! Their defense, all of them, fly to the ball and are scrappy! Remind me of our team last year! I watched a special on them a couple weeks ago and this is the first group of Seniors they have had. The seniors mentioned this year is the first year they are eligible to go to a bowl game and get a ring... They are on a mission this year, we better be ready!!

I bet in 10 years Apogee will be on the low end of average for mid-level FBS football teams considering how nice the new stadiums are being built; again I'm only referring FBS teams

I like how the ESPN announcers are now questioning how good Houston is this year. They had a great year last year with most of their key guys coming back. I really think it's not Houston. It's more like UTSA is really that good this year and people are really just starting to see it. I felt the same way until we played them. I do feel that we could have beat them, we didn't play well that game. I'm glad they are in our conference and hope we spank em!

Less than 200 yards of offense combined by the 2 teams in the first half...not a great game

Yes, the offenses have started pretty slow. Offenses at the beginning of the season are usually a little behind the defenses and not in sync. I also believe these are two really good defenses with strong D-Lines.

21-0 UTSA Wow impressive ---- this is a TOUGH pill for Houston and the ACC!

Houston isn't in the ACC, they are in the new American conference, which is basically the old ConfUSA

      Softball vs. UAB (4/17 & 4/18/25)

      Mother Nature disrupts another softball series. With Easter on Sunday, and bad weather expected Saturday, the ladies will play one game tomorrow and a doubleheader Friday starting at 3 PM. Tight race in The American as we enter the last three conference series. UNT needs two wins this series to match their win total from last year. I maintain getting a top two seed is the highest priority but we are right there with #1 FAU and hold the tiebreaker, the only team in the conference to do so. Other Series This Weekend FAU @ East Carolina Memphis @ South Florida UTSA @ Charlotte Wichita State @ Tulsa I don't foresee South Florida or Charlotte losing this weekend, so a sweep at home against UAB is almost necessary.

      I read somewhere before the teams were even seeded that Florida, Auburn, Duke, and Houston were a step above every other team. There was some metric/stat they showed to back up the statement. So, yes, I think those teams were accurately seeded…though TT almost had something to say about it.

He reported also that Johnson left towards the end of the season. I knew I didn't see her any longer, but I thought maybe injuries, but it turns out she left like Abou did a few years back. Brackens went into the portal and has since landed at Tarleton State. The only people he says that are coming back are Tac, who was injured all season, Chania Price, and Talley.
