Update from John:

We got the ticket packages in and they will be available at 630 this Saturday at east side for the UNT vs UT watching party. $50 gets you a ticket to each home game on the 50 yard line with seat backs, a sweet east side/oak st designed unt logo shirt available by Smu game, a beer for each home game, and free shuttle to and from game. Who wants em?

Only 80 available.

This is truly great, and a freakiing steal of a deal for some sweet seats.

Lets hope the rest have been sold, otherwise it will make for a weird looking crowd dynamic

And just picked up a green bulb in case we need to light up the top of the silo saturday night for some reason.

John; you're the man! Just make sure these people intend on showing up to a couple, especially the smu game. Still need to buy my season tickets, but I don't mind buying them from the school if you sell out. Thanks so much for your support!

Easiest way is probably just to call Eastside at (940) 218-1401 and tell them you want to purchase two young alumni ticket packages from John Williams. If they don't know what you're talking about (they'll know what you're talking about), PM me some contact information and I'll get John in touch with you.

      This is what I call a “growth game.” This is the kind of game Hodge can use the film from to show the team the razor thin margin between winning and losing against the best teams in our league. If we are who we hope we are, our team walks away from this knowing we CAN beat anyone come conference tourney time, we just have to execute.

      Great game, Memphis is a good team and this one came down to the end. However I am still baffled by UNT's inability to inbound the ball, this is a trend that has been going on for a few seasons now. There were several times today that they would inbound the ball directly into a corner trap, many of those instances resulted into a turn over.

      Mean Green Fall At No. 21 Memphis, 68-64

      The Mean Green (10-4, 1-1) got a career performance from senior big man Moulaye Sissoko who poured in a career-high 17 points on eight shots and grabbed a game-high eight rebounds in the four-point defeat. North Texas’ Brenen Lorient scored a team-high 18 points and was one of four different Mean Green players to score in double figures. Senior Jasper Floyd had 11 points to go along with a season-high six assists. UNT outrebounded the nationally ranked Tigers (12-3, 2-0) 30-21and forced them into 15 turnovers and just seven assists. “If you have told me we would force them into 15 turnovers and just seven assists and outrebound them by nine I would have really liked our chances,” said head coach Ross Hodge. “But it was that stretch in the second half where we didn’t handle their press well and we ended with 16 turnovers. We’ll regroup together and get better from this together.” The Mean Green have a quick turnaround as they host Rice on Wednesday at Super Pit at 8 p.m. CT. UNT is 8-0 at home this season. The game will be broadcast on the Mean Green Sports Network, presented by Learfield and ESPNU.
