Historically speaking, there is nothing that suggests Baylor can win on a long-term basis in the Big XII. I think that's why it is so exciting to follow them right now: everyone wants to see them pull it off year in year out.

A&M is just doing what A&M should have been doing all along. They have the second-largest athletics budget in one of the most fertile recruiting states in the country.

Somehow Florida, Miami and FSU all managed to be good at the same time. I imagine Texas, A&M and Baylor can swing it, too. And college football will be better for it.
