we are officially a week away from College Football (Sorry Eastern Washington/SHSU, I'm talking UNT football)

are there any rituals you guys do before kick off?

i'm having my annual viewings of Necessary Roughness and Rudy tonight, while I study up on teams and schedules for this year...

Nothing gets me more fired up than football season

Anybody else watch that EWU/SHSU game? While my eyes were burning from looking at that field, the eagle screeches on EWU first downs brought back memories.

I'm going to follow your idea and pop Necessary Roughness in. Good idea.

This will be year number 11 of starting my first home game tailgate on Friday night. I've camped through extreme heat, rain and even cold.

Last year was special though. For the first time in a long time it was also the first game our team played for the year (no starting out 0-1 for a pay check).

Just noticed after "Throw the ball, genius", you can see "NT" is painted at center court. It's covered by a duffle bag in other shots.

Thanks for the thought. The wife and I are about to sit down for some Necessary Roughness.

Hilarious. I wish Sinbad still had one year of eligibility so he could come back and play one final year.
