Good to hear Tillman get another shoutout. Sophomores Dilonga and Roberts, freshman Tillman Johnson, plus 2015 commit Sam Miller is our highest rated and most highly recruited defensive commit in the recruiting website era. Good future rotation at defensive end.

Also, good to hear a shoutout for Garner. He and Montgomery have both gotten shoutouts this fall. Our 2014 class was all about the offensive players, but the 2014 defense signees appear to be having great camps.

Good to have Aderius in the fold!

Is he related to former all Big West DE Corbin Epps?

ETA: NVM. Just remembered Epps was his adopted name, and he changed his name to Corbin Montgomery.

I agree about the future. I also truly believe this year our pass rush will be really good. If we can win on the run downs and force teams into those obvious passing situations I like our chances to dominate.

Absolutely. I also think we're going to see some good pressure up the middle on pass-rushing downs with guys like Lincoln and Syd Moore. Moore is undersized, but if he's one on one with a guard on a pass-rushing down he could really be a weapon.

There was a Epps family in Arlington. One of them played football for TCU. I think he ran track too.

Hey Billy - any chance you'd write up a little treatise regarding this years defense - who you see where, strength/weakness of player at position, thoughts on Skladany system and how he may evolve it for personnel etc etc?

Spose I could. Greg Goedecker (Mean Green Breakdown) did a good one as well.

Syd Moore is my player man. I expect some solid contributions from Syd this season. Appears exceptionally quick off the LOS.

I didn't list every strength/weakness and how they fit or will develop. I think it would be an interesting read to hear your opinion
