OK, this is an in-game app that Baylor is going to be offering. Anyone thought of something like this for Apogee?

I actually work for a mobile app developer in Austin that competes against Yinzcam. We just built the new AT&T Stadium app and have worked with ESPN, NFL, etc. Anyways, the point is that many conferences (PAC 12) and individual teams are looking to build mobile apps to enhance game day experience. I tried reaching out to our AD and Administration to discuss doing an app for North Texas, but I never heard anything back. This would be a great way to differentiate our program from the rest, but it can get expensive.

True! Baylor is spending a LOT on something called "high density wi-fi" at the stadium.

Just being in Apogee sucks my phone battery down like a dehydrated Longhorn at the prom. I've taken to completely turning my phone off during games. It just isn't worth the hassle.

It's not specific to Apogee: cram large crowds into a major event, like a college football stadium, and data networks start to suck.

I think free wifi in games would be a nice bonus. Granted, I don't know how much it might cost. Ok, fine, make it free for MGC members.
