New job

Most of you know I've been a reserve officer for a couple of police departments in the past, and have been searching for a full time police officer position for a while. Well, I was offered a job in the Panhandle early in July. I started at the end of July, and was officially sworn in today.

Last I heard they had no police department on the Texas side, only a few deputies for the county. There was a bill in the late 90s to allow the Texhoma, OK police department enforce Texas laws on the Texas side, but I have no idea if it passed.

Hmm, I wasn't aware of that. I'll have to ask my in-laws who live in Guymon, OK. They got some ties to Texhoma through their work. I know we always see Troopers up that way and I've seen Texhoma police but not sure if its OK or TX.
