I only went with MT because they're at home. Toss-up really.

WacKY let me down last week against Illinois, but only barely. I'm going to go with them again; nice win over Bowling Green, and essentially a TD and 2-pt conversion difference at Illinois. MUTS' huge win over Savannah State and 11-point loss to Minnesota makes them harder to gauge until they play someone closer to the middle of the road...which is exactly what this game will do, but doesn't help much in predicting their performance for me.

I'm with you on this one. WKU played a weak Illinois team and still lost while MTSU played valiantly against a pretty decent Minnesota. With MUTS playing at home, I think they edge this one out.

I pick with my head , not my heart

A couple of close games that could go either way , WKU/MTSU & Tulsa/FAU. I also think that Ohio vs Marshall game will be a lot closer than people think. If betting , I'd take ohio & the + 21 points.

Southern Miss barely beat Alcorn State. You could probably fill that one in for everybody; looks like CUSA will have its first G5 loss this weekend.

Too bad you guys were right about WKY. If I hadn't kept thinking they'd pull it off against Illinois and MUTS, I'd be up near the top.

Definitely was for me. Gosh the owls really have a special ability to piss a sure win away.... 2 minutes to go, oponent has no timeouts left, 2 points up and the ball in the oponents red zone. To lose that game takes special skill, but it's the kind of skill FAU showed several times last year... i just (wrongly) figured a new coach would change that.

Same thing happened with my pick of Appy State over USM. One freaking point in each of those games. App got their PAT blocked to preserve USM's win...after missing THREE field goals. My picks are just cursed this year. Everybody needs to pick the opposite of my choices in the close ones.
