UNT's Austin Attendees

We will have the bus setup for an open real tailgate just east of the stadium. I encourage anyone that wants a real tailgate experience to come join us

Since you made this statement pointedly elsewhere in regards to the Silo on 7th event, let me clarify something.

That Alumni+Advancement event will be on Friday night. Come Saturday, we'll all be tailagting in the 'real' environment outside of DKR right alongside ya. So please don't fret; we're not splintering any tailgating activities.

That's contrary to what me and others were told by a few alumni, so if that is the case then that is great. Where at the stadium will you guys be at on Saturday? Edited by Sound_Man

A few months back when I was working on finding a spot to park the bus, I talked with a few alumni people about doing a large event a bringing the bus down, kind of like the event at Houston. But there was no interest at that time. I'd still love to do a large event and bring the bus for it still. From the looks of it, the spot that ut gave me to park appears to have a decent grass area around it where an event could be held.

Official word coming soon, but I believe we (Advancement+AlumniAssc) will be partying at John Wilkiams' new bar, Silo on 7th, down there.

Chris, since you're still in the area, head over to Lou's one night and ask him about the bar the opened up in Austin a couple of years ago. That'd be a great spot and I'm sure he's coming down for the game.

First off great map Soundman!

So does anyone know if they allow you to turn right off of 35 to the stadium on game days? I would think they close a lot of that off.

Also - could someone from the alumni association let us know where their spot will be?

Man I cannot wait for this game.
