How about Boone Feldt? 3 star center signed but never made it to his first fall practice due to injuries.

That's not anything he did though. Plus it wasn't till later in the year that it was decided that he hang'em up

Had to wonder about that guy. Going to be interesting to see who plays tackle in 2015.

This. I've been very surprised to see we've only offered one JUCO tackle so far. And he's a longshot at best (Tyler Howell). This makes it more of a pressing need. And we don't have a lot of realistic targets left at tackle. OTs are the first linemen to get scooped up by the big schools.

Really going to need the tackles left (Rentfro, Trussell, Sorge) to step up. Maybe Sam Rice moves to tackle?

Not sure how much it means but Rentfro did get a shout out from Coach Chico today.

Boone had 3 concussions his senior year. Reminded me of Billy Bob from Varsity Blues. Knew he would never see the field though

If Vito got a call from one of Dunnuci's former coaches predicting his withdrawal from the program then why didn't the coach call McCarney, or one of the assistant coaches and give them the same warning/assessment. And if he did, then why did our coaches ignore the warning?

Maybe they did and decided to take the risk, which was very low. If he pans out, great. If not, no problem since he plays our deepest position at OL. He was such a late signing, who else would you have gone after?

Complain all you want about McCarney not handing the starting QB job to Berglund or Dajon, but the man makes people compete for a job. I like that. And, so should you.

Free enterprise in motion. :)
