Looking at things pessimistically . . .

UT - loss

SMU - loss

LaTech - loss

Nicholls State - win

Indiana - loss

UAB - win

Southern Miss - win

Rice - loss

FAU - loss

UTEP - win

FIU - win

UTSA - loss

5-7. And every one of those "wins" should be very clear wins, if not blowouts. So even in a season where things do not go our way, I still see us potentially "Hit[ting] 6."

But several of those "losses" could easily be flipped in our favor. So looking at things more optimistically, but still realistically, based on what we expect our opponents' strength to be this season:

UT - loss

SMU - win

LaTech - win

Nicholls State - win

Indiana - loss

UAB - win

Southern Miss - win

Rice - win

FAU - win

UTEP - win

FIU - win

UTSA - win

10-2. It sounds crazy, but seriously . . . which of those "wins" is that unrealistic?

I dunno...I about crapped my pants when he went in for DT against Georgia, and then he went what, 5-for-5? I'm staying conservative but if they can pull out the "should win" games instead of making us refer to them as "should have won" I could see possibly pulling out 10 wins or more this year.

Yes. 5 of 5 for 36 yards in the Georgia game.
