You mean 45k Amon Carter Stadium?

There goes all the "they will only come here if we play them in Jerry World" ideas right down the toilet.

I obviously don't expect Ohio St. to come to Denton, but this is just another example of a local AD scheduling over his head while we continually schedule at about ankle level.

I'm sure TCU being in the Big 12 conference helps out a lot.

Much like SMU being in the AAC...

Like I said, I'm not expecting Ohio St. in Denton, but think we can do MUCH better than Nichols St.

Funny thing is, I don't think Frog fans were expecting Ohio St in Amon Carter, either. They got a pleasant surprise because their AD figured out a way to get it done.

rv got IDAHO here for only 400K W/O A RETURN visit from us. That's GREAT RIGHT!

Actually, that is great, otherwise we were looking at another 5 home game season last year.

It's this. Didnt the Big 10 (Or whatever it is now) pass something encouraging member schools to play P5 schools in non-conference play?

The B1G has banned teams from playing FCS schools. G5 teams are still considered open.

But Alabama, Texas, OU, LSU can't do better than to pick UNT as a home game...

Silly man. How the hell Can UNT be expected to schedule like a powerhouse such as N. Illinios?

Lots of programs get it done. We most certainly do not.

N.Ill won the MAC in 2011 & 2012. They have been bowling every year since 2008. They have also been ranked. They would be considered a quality opponent.

And if you look at thier 2014 schedule, they have 5 home games, and 7 road games. @Ark & @northwestern. Money games with no return game.

They also have 2 money games @Iowa in 2018 & 2020. No return games.

UNT has 2 things we have to work around as far as scheduling. Becoming a quality opponent, and bringing in enough revenue so there wont be a need for money games.

UL-Lafayette announced a one and one with Texas A&M.

Wow--just wow...this just gets more depressing with each new post an what non-AQ is scheduling an AQ team at their place in the future.

This is becoming depressing. ULL pulled ATM to Lafayette and we pulled Nichols State to Apogee. I like what we have with Army, but it's just Army. They haven't been good in years. I would be content with a close AAC school such as Memphis, Houston, or even Tulsa.

Yes, our AD really sucks at this.
