The people who sat in the front few rows the past few years and made Apogee a nightmare for the visiting team have graduated. Sorry to say we will not be joining the rest of the mean green alumni on the home side quite yet. I am however happy to say the seating behind the visiting team will be louder than ever thanks to the beer being served in the nest.

I'm really excited for the section. I was late to the party as I didn't go to games the first couple years of school but found in my senior year that sitting directly behind the visitor's bench was one of the most fun sports experiences I've ever had. I can't wait to doublefist it and yell at the other team while pretending I'm still a student.

Some students have been calling Apogee that since it opened and I know the players love to say protect the nest on game day but right now Ball State has that name for their stadium. I think after our last 2 games with them we should be able to take it for our own.

It's not like there are about 4 "Death Valleys" in college football anyway...

To add to the behind the visiting team banter. I always thought it would be annoying for students to yell. "Hey Coach.....Hey Coach" over and over like a repetitive kid asking for a toy in a store. Just to get inside their heads a bit more.
