I love your enthusiasm and sentiment, but grant.unt has already been a season ticket holder and MGC member for the past few years. what we need is NEW season season ticket holders. I +1'd him for securing his 2014 tix/membership.

but I don't think we should be getting this excited when someone renews (esp. after last season). Hopefully 100% of holders from 2013 renew for 2014, that's what on-the-field performance does...it secures renewals. It's the AD's, marketing, and Aspire's job to bring in new season ticket holders - that's what I reserve my applause for.

I tweeted Eric and asked where the sales are in terms on the same date last year and he replied "Well ahead... probably a couple hundred ahead."

So figure that's about a 2-3% increase for season ticket sales. It's at least the right direction.

For 200 tickets to be an 3% increase over X, then X would need to be 6666.67.

There is no way we had almost 7k season tickets last year, this is probably closer to 6.7% increase (X = 3000).

Almost 7% ticket growth is good if we can sustain it for several seasons.
