What? What happened to the promise of new helmets with just a logo, like EVERYONE wants, and getting rid of the junior high helmets??

If you really think uniforms are ruining football then you have a pretty weak constitution. Just quit whining and watch the game.

ESPN is ruining the game and Oregon's uniform fiasco is taking away the tradition that makes it special. Find a good helmet and uniform and stick with it.

I don't know about ruining the game, but I truly hate the arena-league feel of college football uniforms. But hey, I'm an old man who is prone to nostalgia. And I'm often grumpy for absolutely no reason at all.

Let's face the old timers want tradition, young guys want and know what stupid stuff like uniform and helmet does to sway recruits. Kids want to look good period. If they don't look and feel good they aren't playing good and that's a fact. Thus the need for "swag"
