my God man, take your tamu kneepads off and let it go. are you sumlin's mother or something?

Don't know Sumlin or his mother. Don't have any tamu kneepads. Do live in Austin where all they spew is Longhorn propaganda and Aggie hate. When I was living in DFW, I hated the Sooners, once I moved to Austin I learned to loathe the horns.

You can kiss my ***. I was wearing mean green gear in public and traveling to away games when you were still in middle school. Don't you dare accuse me of being a Tshirt fan while I'm living in the Tshirt fan capital of the world.

Whoa!!! Calm down aggie-lover!

You may have been wearing mean green gear, but you never did let anyone see your undies. Did you?

Maybe you had something to hide. Maybe, it was because of your maroon undies!

I rest my case.

So is Joe Bergeron off or on the team? I have heard he was dismissed but then in one article it says he is "back in the mix"?

At Big 12 media days Charlie Strong was asked about Bergeron and at the time Coach Strong said he did what was asked of him and was back in the mix. A few days later he is off the team. No idea about why the 180.

Chip Brown had on his twitter account that Coach Strong recently administered a drug test to the players. I'm guessing that's the reason for most of these guys getting cut. Apparently repeat offenders. Could be 5 more guys who get some type of discipline. Edited by Mean_Green09

Anyways. I hope you guys get to come down to the UT game early and listen to some Austin sports radio. You will feel the total disrespect and disregard that I get to experience on a daily basis. People around here either tease me for being a NT fan or just flat out disregard it because we are not important to college football. My boss comments weekly on how I wear a green shirt nearly every day. I'm the only person I've ever seen wearing a North Texas lanyard too. I'm used to it now but I still represent because in my own little mind I believe a recruit will see me running around Austin in NT gear and realize we are known outside of DFW and commit to us.

There is a Mean Green oasis right in your own backyard friend. Tis called The Silo on 7th (1300 E. 7 St) Mean Green owned and operated. Scrappy even nests in the dining area. We may be outnumbered come Aug. 31 but we will most certainly own the top of the hill on East 7th. Come one. Come all.

Thanks. I think I may take co-workers there for lunch when I get back from vacation. I didn't realize they did lunch. I thought it was just a night bar and I have kids so night bars don't fit in the schedule anymore.

Sounds like a good meeting place for August 29th for those making a weekend out of it.

Good for a post-win after party?
