This is just comical now

I applaud a guy like Strong for cleaning house.

Down at aTm the Aggies are embracing their criminals. Reports are that 5 star commit Speedy Noil was arrested for aggravated robbery. I'm sure Sumlin will give him a suspension for half a game.

What is this based opinion based on? No arrests yet.

They've had like 17 players arrested this offseason.

Speedy Noil was not arrested. How many seasons would you suspend our tv thieves for since you applaud toughness on violations of "unspecified team rules"?

I count 9 arrests, not 17, and 4 of those were by Golden and Claiborne who were kicked of the team.

Meh. Roast them all. If wrong doings are taking place roast them. Here, there, everywhere. Embarrassment creates humility and humility builds character. The 2 stand up guys down in Austin need some prison bars and a bible though.

I think it's so cute how some of you roast every program that isn't UT when their players do wrong...but applaud the horns because they're "so tough on bad guys".

Let me clarify I'm not applauding Strong just bc he is weeding out players or being tough. I applaud him for not letting the bright lights of UT change his ways. He has philosophy and is sticking too it even though his team could use some of the talent he is cutting. Why not applaud a coach who is not afraid to shake things up and clean up their program?

He is very much like Coach Mac in philosophies on and off the field.

Don't forget about Benford and how he has cleaned house.

If you consider taking a huge dump in every room, dousing the place in gasoline and striking a match "cleaning", then I couldn't agree more.

Strong is doing what needs to be done win or lose he is turning these players into men and holding them accountable. I have disliked Texas for over a decade but I think strong might change my mind. At least they would jump ahead of the likes of A&M and Oklahoma etc... Always respect a coach who is willing to lose to not compromise his standards.

Yeah, serious props to Strong...I hate to like him.
