Jordan Case played Canadian Football. And if I remember correctly, so did our first ever 1K rusher Leo Taylor. There were probably a lot of other NT graduates that played, but I can't recall them at the moment.

Didn't Mitch Maher play for the Shreveport CFL team for a little while? Of course, the Mighty Quinn played for Saskatchewan.

Perhaps our first CFL player was quarterback Vernon Cole in the 1950s...early 60s, who played with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Vernon was the quarterback when Abner Haynes came to North Texas.

Come clean. SilverEagle, Mean Green 93-98, how many CFL games did you watch to follow those former UNT players?

Well, when Jordan Case was playing cable had not come to Ft. Worth. And when Leo Taylor was playing I never even heard of Cable. So unless either of them were in a Grey Cup game I wouldn't have had an opportunity.
