Board of Regents and Lee Jackson

I'm curious how many football games any of the UNT board of regents and Lee Jackson have attended. Any record of this, news, sightings etc?

I believe it is GrayEagle who has mentioned seeing Lee Jackson at games. Ever see a UNT Dallas Police vehicle parked near the stadium entrance? Clunky looking Crown Vic or not, I believe that's his ride. As for the BOR, I'm sure one of them stumbled through our tailgate area at Fouts once; not sure if she's still on the Board or not, but you get the idea. Who doesn't want to have a good time? And on game days, we're the best party within a long, long way. If the Athletic Department doesn't schmooze the movers and shakers half as well as the College of Music does, it's their own damn fault.

The primary reason that NT athletics has progressed to the extent it has in the last decade is a very supporting BOR at least in historical terms. I give Bobby Ray and C. Dan Smith for example, more credit than any AD, coach or President for NT limited success.

That's good. I would think the board would be very supportive.

I have seen Lee Jackson on more than one occasion. Also, Steve Mitchell probably attends every game.

I've seen Lee at every game where theres some kind of special guest (like Michael Burgess etc) and like the last home game of the season for senior night. He's actually at quite a few basketball games too.
