I usually don't say when I don't like a prospect, but I just couldn't get behind Hott's film. I still think we end up with Creighton Barr (Cade Erwin's teammate) at center and Abdul Beacham at guard. Beacham said the coaches told him we have 2 interior linemen spots for this class, and those would be them. Then we have 3 spots for offensive tackles (possibly a JUCO LT), according to Beacham.

Notice how PAC 12 cones before Oregon St. In his twit? Tells you everything you need to know.

Anyone else think it's weird that the Oregon-Oregon St. Rivalry is called the "Civil War?"

One thing I noticed on Vito's running list at the bottom was the lack of d linemen.

The only excuse I can think of is that they are planning on moving some of those HS OL guys to the other side.

Nah. Vito is only doing this series on kids who we have a realistic shot with. He's not doing these on the Carlos Strickland or Duvonta Lampkin type kids who have probably stopped or never seriously considered us.

Most of the defensive linemen we've offered (especially the DTs) have either committed elsewhere already or have too many big-time offers for us to actually have a chance. D-line recruiting is always the most competitive.

Thanks for the reply, but this does not ease our concerns at all.

I refuse to stress, I'll wait until signing day, evaluate and listen to other evaluators then make my conclusions 3 years later about a signing class. I would rather under sign talent wise and know we are getting a kid in who can turn into something with some coaching and have him for 4 years than get a kid who may or may not qualify then his talent level isn't what he thinks it is and he can't figure out how to work hard. Not saying this is or has been the case, just stating my opinion, which has nothing to do with any recruit past, present, or future.
