If you had to choose to win only one game between SMU and UTSA, which would you choose.

This would have no bearing on whether we win any of the other 10, you just have to win one of the above and lose one.

That's a tough one! I woukd still probably rather beat SMU in front of a big crowd to open the season.

Nice to have at least two to choose from. La Tech and USM are quickly gaining ground in the list of teams that I want to make sure we beat each year.

Give me UTSA. We need to squash whatever thoughts they have at establishing a winning streak against us.

I'm go with UTSA, a conference game and last scheduled one of the year and by the way UTSA is probably a better team.

An early season loss to SMU would sting, but not near as much as an important and perhaps very meaningful game at year end.

If we are in the running for the division championship...UTSA. Plus, I don't want to be 0-2 against the upstarts.

If the loss has to be SMU then let the clock run out just as we are trying to position ourselves for the winning field goal and are out of timeouts.

As usual, solid logic. My stance is that beating SMU is going to get us a lot more local notice and publicity early in the season and get our attendance numbers up. Did I mention more notice on the local news?

If I had to pick a guaranteed win and loss, it would be a UTSA win. That probably gets us an 0-2 start, but we can rebound against la tech and Nichols st.

I dont want to be on a roll and lose the very last game. Especially with a shot to play for the cusa ship and knock UTSA out of it. We would also have a shot at a better bowl, and possibly a shot on national TV against a ranked Marshall team for the cusa ship.

If we only have two or three losses, we may also have a shot at being ranked. A loss at the end would hurt rankings.

Bigger picture, UTSA is the better win.
