I expect big #65 Micah Thompson to have a good year. He has been patient and worked very hard. Coming out of spring he was listed at backup at several o-line positions. I think we could see him play a key role this year and I wish him well.

  From high school and prior achievements, I thought we had picked up some solid pitchers. It was our offense that I was nervous about this year. Tomorrow we play Samford and Troy. Samford did not play today. Troy beat Central Michigan, 7-4, and Tennessee State 8-2.
