New/Old 3 Star WR? Cameron Brown

Saw him on the roster, but did not see any recent threads on him.

The roster does not list western Kentucky as the last college, but he was there for 2.5 years. He redshirted his first year 2011, and played in 4 games in 2012 season. Went through spring 2013, but was granted a release. Was playing DE for WKU in the spring based on some youtube highlights. Thought it was a mistake, but also saw where he played wr and de in highschool. Not sure why he left WKU, but maybe he did not want to be converted to a DE. Helluva athlete from what I see on the highlights. Also ran track and was a good bball player.

It looks like he and several other left/got cut after spring practice. Would assume he was a casualty of the Petrino regime change. Can't find where he played anywhere in 2013-2014 so he may be eligible and would assume he is classified as a RS JR.

Looks like a Darnell Smith type frame/speed. If he could be anywhere close to Darnell's last couple of years in terms of productivity, that would be huge.

Great assessment Greenit. I was going to say that when I went to some regular practices and scrimmages in the spring he caught my eye as a Darnell Smith-type receiver.
